Introduction of affiliation/ Relation to the Marine Global Project

Director of the research Institute of Blue Biotechnology and Development (IBYDA) and member of the Research group of Photobiology and Biotechnology of Aquatic organisms (FYBOA) of Malaga University. I am interested in cooperation in Marine Global Project specially on ecophysiology and the development of the culture of the red alga Gelidium sp and the investigation of the biotechnological applications i.e cosmeceutics (UV photoprotection , antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory capacity by Mycosporine-like amino acids and polyphenols) and nutraceutics (immunological and prebiotic activities)
